Some information for our new customers

Will my phone number change?

No. Your number will stay the same once we've taken over the line, so you don't have to worry about telling everyone you've switched providers. Unless, of course, you want to!

What does my monthly bill cover?

Every month you will receive a bill which is payable by Direct Debit.  It will cover your line rental charge, free calls depending on your plan and Broadband if you opted for it.  It will also cover any chargeable calls you may make. You will always receive a statement 2 weeks before the monies are debited from your account.

Why does my Broadband take longer to switch than my phone line?

In order to set up your broadband, we first need control of your telephone line! Once we have switched your phone line over, we can switch your broadband too.

When does my router arrive?

Once we have taken over your phone line, we will confirm the broadband order and get your router on its way. This usually takes between 5 and 10 days after switching the line.

I’ve been sent a letter from my old provider - do I need to do anything?

Your old provider may send you a letter confirming the switchover, but don’t worry about it! From now on, you’re a valued italk customer, and we will take care of everything for you.

Will I lose any call features?

All call features that are on the line when we take it over will automatically switch over.

What will happen to the services I have with my current supplier, such as BT sport?

You will need to pay for BT branded channels separately if you choose us as your broadband provider.
